Experience
Being military, I am forced to uproot and move frequently. While parts of this are challenging, the upside is that I have accumulated a broad spectrum of teaching experience in a relatively short amount of time. I have taught in inner city and rural environments. I have taught middle school, high school, and community college at levels ranging from remedial math to AP Calculus. I love teaching, especially to students who want to learn. I believe that any student can learn, and one on one tutoring can often provide support that large classes simply cannot. I currently use an online software that allows for video, audio, interactive whiteboard, document uploading and screen sharing. I offer the first session for free so that I can help you learn to access the software and troubleshoot any technical difficulties, as well as let you get to know me and see if this is a good fit, all at no risk to you. As a tutor, I will work with you to determine curriculum for each session. I do not mind doing homework help, but I'm also willing to go much further. I take each student's needs/goals into consideration and will research standards, test blueprints, etc. to make sure that the content we are covering will help you as much as possible.

Hobbies
I love snowboarding and wake boarding, depending on the season. I enjoy reading, especially with a cup of coffee on a stormy day. Simple walks with my husband and two dogs are always refreshing as well.
